Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze held meeting with representatives of foreign law enforcing sphere accredited in Georgia. The meeting was attended by the Head of MIA Administration Zurab Zubadalashvili, head of Central Criminal Police Department Ivane Papiashvili, and head of International Relations Department Shalva Kvinikhidze and leadership of liaison officers division of Central Criminal Police Department.
Meeting was also attended by representatives of Austria Republic, Ukraine, France, United States, European Union, Turkey, Germany, Armenia, Belgium, Azerbaijan and Kingdom of Netherlands.
Meeting was organized by MIA Central Criminal Police Department, since the mentioned department coordinates with liaison officers of foreign law enforcing agencies accredited in Georgia. It is also notable that on October 4, 2013 Ministry of Internal Affairs took responsibility in accordance with “Agreement on International Co-operation in the Law Enforcing Sphere” to hold forums occasionally for foreign Security and Police Attaches.
