First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Besik Amiranashvili, Rector of the Academy of the MIA –Givi Mikanadze and Police Attach of the MIA to Germany – Ms. Gvantsa Chkhvimiani attended the event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of founding Police of Rheinland-Pfalz Federal Land.
Within the frames of the event, Georgian participants held meeting with leadership of the Ministry of Interior of the Rheinland-Pfalz Federal Land, emphasized close bilateral cooperation that have been enhanced recently, and discussed future plans.
It is worth mentioning, that Georgian side has an excellent cooperation with the Rheinland-Pfalz Federal Land. In 2016 is signed “Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Interior, Sport and Infrastructure of the Rheinland-Pfalz Federal Land”, which identifies the main fields of cooperation and prescribes capacity building of police officers.
