Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Shalva Khutsishvili participated in the round table format meeting organized by East -West Management Institute.
The meeting was attended by the representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Organization for Migration mission and non-governmental organizations.
The aim of the meeting was to summarize the results of seven months of visa-free travel for Georgian citizens in EU states, review and analyze the current situation, discussing of activities and challenges of government agencies in this regard between government agencies and non-governmental sector.
Within the frames of the event, the sides discussed ways of cooperation between NGOs and state agencies to prevent illicit migration from Georgia to the EU.
