The annual Conference “Women in Police” has been launched in Tbilisi, Radisson Blue Iveria. The Regional Conference is organized in cooperation with the US Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The conference is held yearly in March in Georgia. It aims to develop qualification of law enforcement professionals and emphasize the role of women in Police.
The welcoming speech was made by the Minister Mr. Vakhtang Gomelauri, U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Mr. Richard Norland and the Minister of Justice Ms. Tea Tsulukiani.
Event is attended by Georgian female law enforcement officers and their colleagues from: Moldova, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Philippines, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The regional conference women in policing will end on March 6.
