The MIA border policemen from the Land Border Defence Department and Operative-investigation Bureau carried out an operation and detained three citizens of the Republic of Turkey on the territory of N6 Border Sector (Kartsakhi) of the MIA Border Police N2 Division (Akhaltsikhe).
Investigation established that the suspects had crossed the State border of Georgia illegally in groups from the republic of Turkey.
Investigation is ongoing on the above-mentioned fact according to the Criminal Code of Georgia, Article 344, Part II, Subparagraph A).
