Delegation of the Republic of Poland is paying an official visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The delegation includes directors and advisors of different departments of the Ministry of Interior Matters and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. The main purpose of the visit is to conduct negotiations between Georgia and the Republic of Poland on the draft implementing protocol to the Georgia-EU Readmission Agreement with the aim of agreeing the texts of the mentioned document between the parties.
The respective representatives of MoIA International Relations Department, Migration Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Justice of Georgia are participating in negotiations from the Georgian side.
After completion of negotiations and relevant internal procedures, the mentioned protocol will be ready for the signature.
Within the frames of the visit parties will discuss issues of further co-operation. Delegation will get familiarized with implemented and ongoing reforms held at Migration Department on the topic of migration.
