State flags were lowered at all administrative buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in honor of the 28th anniversary of the fall of Sokhumi and to honor the memory of those killed in the Abkhazian war.
The military confrontation in Abkhazia started on August 14, 1992. The war lasted for 13 months and 13 days.
