On February 4, 2023, the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report on theft of a piece of modern art from the exhibition space of the National Gallery of Georgia. The relevant services launched an investigation under Article 177, Part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
Investigative activities were carried out within the scope of the case. Due to the absence of signs of crime, the investigation of the case was suspended after the implementation of the relevant procedural and investigative actions.
