On the basis of the judge's ruling, the law enforcement officers made control purchases of drugs from persons arrested on the charge of illegal possession of drugs several times and made secret audio-video recording of said purchases. The police seized as evidence the narcotics illegally sold by the defendants for drug sales. Also, the amount obtained as a result of the illegal sale of drugs was recovered.

The law enforcers, within the framework of the complex policing measures conducted in Tbilisi and the regions, also prevented the facts of illegal distribution of drugs through the Internet and arrested 3 citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a result of the conducted covert operative-investigative measures, it was determined that the persons accused of drug trafficking were involved in the scheme of selling drugs on the Internet.
During the search of their personal and residential apartments, up to 2 kilograms of narcotic drug "cocaine" and more than half a kilogram of psychotropic drug "ketamine" were seized. For the purpose of further sale, they placed drugs in different places and photographed the location of said locations, and then provided information about the location of hiding places to the customers.
Law enforcement officers arrested a person in Batumi, whose narcotic drug "Buprenorphine" containing 490 pills "Subutex" was taken as evidence from the car he was driving. The police arrested 2 more persons, one of whom has been convicted of various serious crimes in the past, for the illegal purchase and storage of a particularly large amount of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
As a result of operational and investigative measures conducted throughout the country, large and especially large quantities of narcotics and psychotropic substances prepared for sale were seized as evidence from the locations indicated by the defendants, as well as during the search of the personal, car and residential houses of the detainees: "Heroin", "Cocaine", "Alpha PVP," "Ketamine," and "Subutex."
Investigating the facts of illegal purchase and storage of narcotic drugs in especially large quantities, and the preparation of drugs, as well as illegal purchase and storage of psychotropic substances in accordance with 260, 19-260, 273, 18- of the Criminal Code of Georgia is being conducted under Articles 260 and 261.
