The officers of Imereti, Racha-lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained Sh.L. (DoB 1988) for domestic violence.
Investigation established that detainee verbally and physically assaulted his wife- M.R. (DoB 1987) in the attendance of under-aged child.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of domestic violence, article 1261 envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
