The employees of Main Division for combating illegal drug circulation under the Central Criminal Police Department of MIA, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department, Vake-Saburtalo and Gldani-Nadzaladevi Police Main Divisions of Tbilisi Police Department, as a result of operational-search measures and investigative activities conducted at different times, detained 4 Persons - E.S. (DoB 1997), S.O. (DoB 1995), M.K. (DoB 1983) S.M. (DoB 1996) for drug crime.
As a result of personal and search activities held in their residential houses, the law enforcement officers seized a large and particularly large amount of various types of narcotics as evidence from the places indicated by the detainees.
The committed crime envisions from 8 to 20 years or lifetime imprisonment.
Employees of the Central Criminal Police Department detained E.S. in Tbilisi. During the personal search of the accused person, and from the place indicated by E.S. police removed 3 packs of "cocaine" prepared for sale and 9 packages of "marijuana" as evidence.
The employees of the main divisions of Vake-Saburtalo and Gldani-Nadzaladevi arrested the S.O. and S.M. at different times, in Tbilisi. During the personal search of S.O., the law enforcement officers seized 25 packages of narcotic drug "Alpha-PVP" as evidence. In addition, the police, during the conducted investigation experiment, removed 5 more packages of narcotics prepared by the detainee for sale. As a result of the personal search of SM, the law enforcement officers seized 49 "Subutex" narcotic drugs and pill fragments as evidence.
As for M.K., he was arrested by the officers of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department for illegal purchase and storage of a particularly large amount of narcotics. During a personal search of him, the police seized 100 pills of the narcotic drug "Suboxin" as evidence.
The investigation into the facts of illegal purchase and storage of a large and especially large amount of narcotic drugs and the attempted selling of drugs, and illegal purchase and storage of marijuana is being conducted in accordance with Article 260, parts III and VI, Articles 19-260, part V, article 273(1) part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
