Within the framework of the campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police", after the public event in Batumi, informational meetings were launched in schools. The representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs met with the students of Ilia Chavchavadze Public School N1 and Public School N20 in Batumi.
The purpose of the meeting was to prevent juvenile delinquency, to raise the awareness of juveniles on traffic and fire, as well as civil and public safety.
Employees of the Patrol Police, Criminal Police, Emergency Response Center "112", Emergency Situations Management Service, and the Human Rights Protection and Quality Investigation Monitoring Department provided juveniles with important information of law and order and relevant topics, such as: children's rights (according to age), premature Marriage, bullying and organized crime.
The event continued in Q&A format. The law enforcement officers provided answers to the questions raised by students and expressed hope that the friendship, which started at the meeting, will continue in the future.
The campaign - "Befriend the Police" will have a permanent character, and informational meetings will be held in different schools of five regions across the country.
