The officers of Old Tbilisi Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the immediate operative-investigative actions, detained R.M – D.o.B.: 1991 – for attempted murder. The crime committed by him envisages the term of imprisonment from 7 to 15 years.
The investigation found that the detainee inflicted injuries with a cold steel to the citizen of France – A.K, D.o.B.: 1988 - on May 5 in Ingorokva Street, Tbilisi and fled from the scene. The wounded was taken to hospital; his life is not in danger.
Law enforcers detained R.M in several hours after the incident; the tool of the crime is seized as an evidence.
Investigation is underway on the fact of premeditated attempted murder - the article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
