The employees of the Department for Combating Trafficking and Illegal Migration under the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained previously convicted M.B. (DoB 1985) for trafficking of minors.
The committed crime envisisons from 14 to 17 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person M.B. in order to receive financial benefits, systematically exploited minors – R.P. (DoB 2006) and M.P. (DoB 2007).
The accused person forced them to collect and hand over various items from the garbage bins, and would fully own the earned amount.
In case the minors did not obey the demands of M.B. the accused would physically abuse them.
The investigation is being conducted in accordance with Article 143, part III, sub-paragraph "C" of the Criminal Code of Georgia..
