Minister of Internal Affairs- Vakhtang Gomelauri expressed gratitude towards the Head of Emergency Situations Management Service- Teimuraz Mgebrishvili and awarded him with I degree medal for exceptional merits.
Teimuraz Mgebrishvili was appointed on the position of the Head of Emergency Situations Management Service in the end of 2018. From 2019 the service has returned under the organizational structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Within the frames of the renovation project, infrastructure reform at Emergency Situations Management Service is still in progress. The Service has recently received 30 new, German-made firefighting vehicles, which are fully equipped and constructed in full compliance of the contemporary standards and will be distributed in Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Rustavi and Signagi.
Social projects are also being actively implemented within the frames of which, salaries of Emergency Situations Management Service employees will be increased this year. Fire-rescuers will also be provided with nourishment.
Teimuraz Mgebrishvili has expressed appreciation towards the Minister of Internal Affairs for the support and confidence.
