Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze along with Head of Security Police Guram Tomaradze and Chief of Tbilisi Police Main Division Giorgi Dakalishvili participated in physical training along with MIA Judo Club members and acting champions at the gym located in the Ministry and participated in sparing. The event was aimed to support Georgian sportsmen.
Under the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs and with the support of Security Police Department Judo Club of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was founded in May of this year. Club is mainly comprised of Judoists from the national team of Georgia who are participants of international tournaments and world championships. Sportsmen returned from Japan several days ago.
Georgian sportsmen took the fourth place in group contest at the popular tournament which was held in Japan. Members of MIA Judo Club will visit Netherlands on December 18 and participate in Europe’s championship in team contest.

They wished success to Georgian judoists at the upcoming tournament in Netherlands. Georgian sportsmen also joined campaign against domestic violence launched by the Ministry and will participated at the tournament with the campaign emblem.
