The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri held a meeting with the Head of NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, Rosaria Puglisi.
At the meeting, parties discussed the priority directions of the NATO-Georgia cooperation and the progress made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs within its competences. Particular attention was paid to the enhancement of cooperation on the Black Sea security.
The Minister of Internal Affairs highlighted the significance of up-coming North Atlantic Council visit in Batumi that is yet another demonstration of NATO’s strong support to Georgia.
Vakhtang Gomelauri extended his gratitude to the Head of NATO Liaison Office for continuous support to ongoing and planned activities of the Ministry and expressed hope for further enhancement of successful cooperation.
