Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri visited the Unified Service Center of the Patrol Police Department, where he got familiarized with work specifics of the space aimed at providing citizens with relevant services in full compliance with contemporary standards, newly created unit of internal operations and call center of the Patrol Police.
Vakhtanag Gomelauri personally spoke with the citizens and got acquainted with the process of providing up to 50 police services to the citizens. Minister of Internal Affairs gave relevant recommendations and remarks to the Patrol Police Department leadership related to creation of better work conditions for employees of the Center.
In 2018 the Ministry of Internal Affairs started implementation of the concept of the Unified Service Center within the frames of the system upgrade reform. From the day of the opening, the Center has served up to 500 000 citizens, while information hot line responded to 250 000 calls.
Last year, Unified Service Center branch was opened in Rustavi, Kvemo Kartli region, where citizens are provided with various services within the scope of “one-window” principle.
One of the priorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is to introduce a unified standard of service throughout the country that will enable citizens to have access to various police services of the Ministry in a contemporary space and within a less timeframe.
