Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri along with Prime Minister - Giorgi Gakhatia, President of Georgia - Salome Zurabishvili, members of the Georgian government and representatives of the diplomatic corps arrived at Mukhatgverdi Brothers Cemetery. Minister paid tribute to the memory of soldiers fallen during the Russian-Georgian War and laid a wreath on Heroes Memorial.
12 years have passed since August War 2008. During the war, Ministry of Internal Affairs lost 14 police officers and 5 employees of the Coast Guard.
