The delegation of the German Federal Criminal Police Office paid an official visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Within the frames of the visit Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Aleksandre Tchikaidze met with President of the German Federal Criminal Police Office Jrg Zierke. During the meeting Mr. Ziercke expressed his willingness to intensify co-operation with relevant services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, especially in the fields of combating organized crime, forensics and capacity building of the employees of the Ministry.
The delegation also visited the emergency management operative center “112” and got acquainted with work specifics of the center. Visit to MIA Academy and Old Tbilisi Police Division of MIA is also scheduled within the frames of the visit.
Visit of delegation of German Federal Criminal Police Office will last until 26 April.
