Minister of Internal Affairs held meeting with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Ms. Navanethem Pillay. The parties addressed human rights protection situation in Georgia and discussed completed and planned activities of the Ministry in this field. Police reform and human rights’ protection in occupied territories were also discussed.
Commissioner Pillay is paying an official visit to Georgia. Within the frames of the visit meetings are being held with government officials and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
