Residents of different municipalities voluntarily handed over firearms and ammunition to Shida Kartli Police Department of MIA.
Total the citizens handed over: “Makarov” system 1 unregistered pistol, 4 hand grenades, 3 cut guns – so called “Obrez”, “AKM” model 2 unregistered machine guns, 1 rifle of small caliber, 5 grenade launchers, 7 cartridges and 868 bullets.
According to the Article 105, sub-clause “j” of the Criminal Code of Georgia the above-mentioned individuals shall be exempted from criminal responsibility.
