Within the frames of the official visit, Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili held meeting with Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Kemaleddin Heiydarov in Baku.
At the meeting Giorgi Mgebrishvili pointed out that Georgian side attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of the civil protection and emergency situations management. Giorgi Mgebrishvili familiarized Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan with the implemented reforms held in Georgian Emergency Situations Management Agency. Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs offered Kemaleddin Heiydarov to conclude memorandu between police academies of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Kemaleddin Heiydarov expressed satisfaction with the fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and outlined that emergency response will become much better by sharing experience.
At the meeting sides discussed perspectives of future cooperation and discussed future plans.
