Mr. Giorgi Mgebrishvili, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia and Mr. Levan Kobiashvili, the President of Georgian Football Federation signed the Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation. The Memorandum aims at prevention, detection, elimination of crimes in the field of football and popularization of a healthy lifestyle through deepening the cooperation between the two parties.
Within their scopes the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Georgian Football Federation will share experience to each other and develop relevant recommendation and proposals for prevention of crimes in the field of football. The parties will also cooperate in the direction of revealing and prevention of different crimes related to the football teams’ illegal deals and matches.
In case of necessity the agencies will jointly discuss and develop the drafts of the standard acts and other documents related to the football sphere. Joint trainings, courses and the events for raising the level of awareness of population will be scheduled within the frames of the Memorandum.
