Delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia under the leadership of the Deputy Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri continues official visit to Azerbaijan. On the second day of the visit members of delegation held meeting with the Minister of Emergencies of Azerbaijan, General-Colonel Qemaledin Geidarov.
Within the frames of the visit Georgian delegation visited academy of the Ministry of Emergencies of Azerbaijan, where delegation got familiarized with study process, plans and infrastructure. On the same day members of Georgia delegation - Deputy Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri, Director of Emergency Management Department Zviad Katsashvili and his Deputy Levan Buiglishvili, along with other MIA officials met with leadership of academy of the Ministry of Emergencies and discussed the level of preparedness of the Georgian rescuers.
By the end of the visit delegation held summarizing meeting with Deputy Minister of Emergencies of Azerbaijan Paig Tagi-Zade. At the meeting sides have once again specified future joint activities plan and expressed their hope that strategic cooperation between the countries will be improved.
