Aleksandre Tchikaidze, Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia met with Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs – Carol. Z. Perez. The meeting was also attended by the US Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland, the deputy ministers: Vakhtang Gomelauri and Levan Izoria; Director of International Relations Department- Shalva Kvinikhidze, Director of Reforms and Development Agency- Irakli Beraia and representatives of INL.
At the introductory meeting achieved results and cooperation between INL and MIA were discussed; as well as future plans and directions were determined.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia actively cooperates with INL for several years in the fields of Cybercrime, domestic violence, trafficking, fighting against drug-related crimes, tactical training, etc.
