Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Mgebrishvili will visit United States on 7-11 November within the frames of the official visit. Delegation of the Ministry is comprised of Deputy Ministers and heads of various MIA Departments.
Within the frames of the visit Giorgi Mgebrishvili will hold meetings in Washington with director of FBI James Comey and management of the law enforcing agencies of the United States.
Within the frames of the mentioned meetings topical issues existing in the field of cooperation between law enforcing agencies of the US and Georgia will be discussed, such as: trafficking, drug-related crime, cybercrime and etc. At the meetings members of the Georgian delegation familiarized American colleagues with recently implemented reforms, scheduled activities and plans for future development.
