Twenty five residents of the region voluntarily submitted and handed over various types of firearms and ammunition to Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Department of MIA.
Totally the citizens handed over: 4804 cartridges designated for various types of firearms, 400 grams of TNT, 2 electric detonators of TNT, 42 grenades, 4 cut gun, 1 self-made revolver, 7 anti-tank grenades, 10 magazines, 5 mortars, 14 grenade exploders, 14 piston exploders, 4 anti-tank mines, 2 anti-tank missiles, 3 grenade launchers, 6 smoke bombs, 3 heads of grenades, 5 exploder capsules, 1 hand-grenade exploder and 8 exploders anti-tank grenade.
According to the Article 105, sub-clause “j” of the Criminal Code of Georgia the above-mentioned individuals shall be exempted from criminal responsibility.
