Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili presented newly appointed chief of Tbilisi Police Department Giorgi Aladashvili to his employees. Aladashvili has a Master’s degree received at Harvard University. He also received education at Georgetown University and Hague International Law Academy. Aladashvili has several years of experience working at the law enforcement agencies. From 2014 Giorgi Aladashvili was appointed on the post of police attache of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia to Austria.
Today Minister also held meeting with newly appointed regional police chiefs. Mgebrishvili noted that MIA will further strengthen the fight against criminal. At the meeting Minister outlined the importance of the coordinated work with police chiefs and gave new instructions to the newly appointed chiefs.
