The Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is ready for the summer season of 2023. Head of the service - Teimuraz Mghebrishvili personally got familiarized with the preparations for the tourist season in Batumi and wished success to the rescuers.
The opening ceremony of the season was attended by Tornike Rizhvadze, the chairman of the government of Adjara, the deputy heads of the Emergency Situations Management Service, the mayor of Batumi Archil Chikovani and the heads of the fire-rescue forces department.
As part of the event, on the Black Sea coastline, both land and sea special equipment and gear were exhibited. After the official ceremony, a simulation of a water rescue operation was organized on the spot, in which special equipment was included along with personnel.
