The officers of Rustavi City Police Division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained 2 individuals for violence as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities. The detainees are : previously convicted E.A. (DoB 2000), and R.C. (DoB 2001).
The investigation established that on November 3 of the current year, the accused persons verbally and physically assaulted one of the participants of the rally held near N12 penitentiary facility – G.B. (DoB 1999), while returning home from the rally in Rustavi.
The fact of violence is being investigated under Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
