The officers of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-investigative activities, detained S.A. (DoB 1958) in Tetritskaro municipality for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
Committed crime envisages from 8 to 20 years or lifetime imprisonment.
Law enforcers stopped S.A. while driving in Tetritskaro municipality. As a result of the search activities held in detainee’s vehicle, police officers seized 2 kg and 300 gr of drug substance, containing “Heroin” “Morphine” and “Codeine”.
On the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, investigation is in progress under the article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
