The officers of Rustavi police division under Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria K.O. (DoB 1986) for domestic violence.
Committed crime envisages up to 3 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that detainee physically insulted his step daughter -I.M. (DoB 2003) in the apartment located in Rustavi.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of violence committed by family member against another under-aged member of the family, article 126, II part, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code.
