The officers of Batumi City Division of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of investigative activities and on the base of judge's ruling detained in Batumi on the fact of violence against a family member J.K.(DoB: 1991), currently being on probation for robbery.
The crime committed envisages up to 3 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that in Batumi the accused man had verbally and physically abused ex-spouse L.D. (DoB: 1991) in the presence of a minor child.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of violence against family member in presence of a minor child (sub-clause “b” of the part 2 of the Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
