The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues its uncompromising fight against drug circulation and distribution in the country. The law enforcers foiled the facts of selling drugs through Internet in Tbilisi and seized drugs placed in different places of the capital for further realization.
The investigation established that deainees sold drugs through internet on the regular basis.
The employees of the Main Division for Combating Illegal Circulation of Drugs under the Central Criminal Police Department, as a result of intensive operative and investigative activities, arrested 4 persons: L.N. (DoB1984). N.K. (2002). A.Ch. (DoB 1999) and M. K. (DoB 2002).
During the personal search of L.N's and his residential house, as well as during the search of N.K's apartment, the law enforcers seized drug substance containing methadone and a new psychoactive substance - so-called "Bio". The "methadone" containing narcotic substance placed at different locations and a new psychoactive substance - so-called "Bio" have also been seized as evidence.
L.N is accused of illegally purchasing and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities and the attempted selling of drugs in large quantities. The committed crime envisages from 8 to 20 years or lifetime imprisonment.
N. K. is accused of illegal purchase-keeping and attempted sale of a new psychoactive substance, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 11 years.
During the personal search of A.Ch. and M.K. 1, 670 ml of liquid, "Alpha-PvP" drug was seized as evidence, illegally purchased by the group with the prior agreement for further realization. The investigation also established that the detainees were moving in the capital by motorcycles and used product boxes belonging to one of the courier service companies, for placing"Alpha-PVP" drug at various locations for further realization. The law enforcers seized up to 16 grams of the drug "Alpha-PVP" wrapped in 15 packages from the mentioned locations.
A.Ch. And M. K. are accused of illegal purchase and storage of drugs in group with the prior agreement, and the attempted selling of the drug substances which envisages imprisonment for a term of 7 to 14 years.
Investigation regarding the facts of the attempted illegal purchase-storage and illegal selling of drugs and new psychoactive substances are in progress under Article 260, Part II, Article 260, Part III, Subparagraph B, Article 260, Part VI, Article 19-260, Part IV, Article 19-260, Part V, Subparagraphs “A” and “B” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
