The officers of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained K.M. (DoB 1940), as a result of immediate operative and investigative activities. A family member has been arrested on charges of the attempted premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances.
The committed crime envisions from 13 to 17 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused man, with a cold steel had inflicted multiple body wounds to his son, G.M. (DoB 1975) during a confrontation in his house in Gori. The wounded man underwent appropriate medical treatment at a medical facility.
Police seized the weapon of crime - a knife as evidence.
An investigation is underway into the attempted premeditated murder of a family member under aggravated circumstances under Article 19-109(11), Part II, Subparagraph "F" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
