With the aim to ensure the enforcement of significantly tough measures within the frames of the state of emergency imposed by the Interagency Coordination Council of the Georgian Government, additional police checkpoints have been arranged at the entrances of the town of Vani.
Due to high epidemiological risk, in order to control the health of civilians and monitor their movement, the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the representatives of the Ministry of Defense will ensure the enforcement of the imposed strict regulations in a round-the-clock and provide preliminary screening of citizens.
The initial thermal screening activities will also be carried out on the ground.
Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will provide locals with comprehensive information regarding quarantine restrictions and provide assistance in case if needed.
All persons on the territory of Georgia must follow requirements of the Georgian legislation on public health.
