Within the frames of training on “Judicial Mechanisms against Domestic Violence” training was held in Sagarejo which was aimed at boosting qualification of Kakheti Regional Main Division employees. In Telavi within the frames of the project, open discussion on domestic violence was also held, in the attendance of representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, prosecutor’s office, social service and court.
The project is funded by the Organization for Women of the United Nations in collaboration with Ministry of Internal Affairs as well as by non-governmental organization “National Net for the Protection from Violence”.
According to the project trainings for policemen will be held countrywide. With the aim of improving coordination, discussions will be held in the attendance of representatives from various agencies.
