Descendants of the first Minister of Internal Affairs of Independent Georgia Noe Ramishvii visited Georgia. Grand child of Noe Ramishvili Michel Ramishvili brought his grandfather’s passport to Georgia. Based on the decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs Georgian stamp was put symbolically in the passport of Noe Ramishvili at Tbilisi International Airport. According to Michel Ramishvili for his and his family the presence of the Georgian stamp in the French passport of Noe Ramishvili, which was issued in 1925, has a symbolic importance. “This is a symbolic return of my grandfather to homeland”-stated Michel Ramishvili.
Descendants of Noe Ramishvili will stay in Georgia for the next few days, visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs and meet Giorgi Mgebrishvili.
