Representatives of Informational-Analytical Department attended 46th Incident Prevention and Reaction Mechanisms meeting (IPRM). At the meeting Georgian side expressed its protest over the restrictions imposed for the locals in connection with the free movement by the De Facto government of Tskhinvali.
At the meeting representatives of the central government once again referred to the issue of Roman Shitikov, kept as a prisoner, whose detention and presence is not confirmed neither by De Facto government of Tskhinvali, nor by Russian occupational forces so far. In connection with the above mentioned Georgian side presented testimonies given by the certain persons who confirm Roman Shitikov’s presence in Tskhinvali prison.
Sides also discussed rehabilitation of water collector in Dusheti, located near Trinity Church. According to the representatives of Tskhinvali De Facto government certain works have begun in this direction and will be solved in the nearest future.
Georgian side expressed protest over the fact of illegal installation of barbed wires and fences in Gori region, namely in Kere and in Otrevi villages of Tskhinvali region. Restricted access to grasslands of Akhalgori region has also been discusses on which De Facto government noted that the issue need additional research.
During the meeting the issues of Georgian citizens in Tskhinvali prison ad missing persons were also discussed.
Next IPRM meeting will be held on July 30 of the current year.
