The head of Information-analytical department under MIA Shalva Enukidze and other representatives of the department attended the extraordinary meeting under the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism.
The Georgian side highlighted the problems caused by so-called banners and iron fences. Special attention was drown to the fact that armed people appeared along the abovementioned area several times. It’s worth noting, that Central Government of Georgia wants to provide safety along the vicinities of the occupation line. Due to that purpose, the members of DE facto government, were once again reminded, that, in terms of maintaining safety, armed people should refrain from travelling. During the meeting, the Georgian side also underlined issue concerning the restriction in travelling for local citizens. Signposts placement is hampering and Contrary to the principles of international law.
The representatives of Information-Analytical Department under MIA also spoke on the issue of harvesting by local residents that should be carried out without any problems. As regards the issue of handing the flag, the representatives of the de facto government stated, that they will contact Georgian side through hot line and hand out the flag.
As regards detained resident of Knolevi, he will be released and return home.
