At Incident Prevention and Reaction Mechanisms 43rd meeting Georgian side expressed its concern and protested over provocative acts that took place on March 6 and 15, when helicopters of Russian occupational forces violated airspace controlled by the Georgian central government, undermining stability and safety of the region.
At the meeting the situation caused by the illegal installation of barbed wires in Ghogheti and Atotsi villages was discussed that deprives local population of the free movement and hinders spring agricultural activities.
At the meeting sides also discussed rehabilitation of the water systems in villages located near the occupation line as well as issue connected with enabling pupils from Kardzmani village (currently under occupation) to study at school located in Perevi village, Sachkhere region.
At the meeting the issue of regulations elaborated in connection of the free movement in Akhalgori region was also discussed.
Next IPRM meeting will be held on April 28 of the current year.
