Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili signed three memorandum of understanding with Minister of Emergency Situations of Kirgizia Kubatbek Boronov and Minister of Interior of Kirgizia Kashkar Junushaliev.
Within the frames of the visit of the president of Kirgizia, signing ceremony was held at President’s palace.
The mentioned memorandum envisages further enhancement of the existing relations and sharing best practice and experience.
The agreement concluded between the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia and Kirgizia, also envisages joint fight against trafficking, drugs, crime and illegal migration.
On the basis of the memorandum signed with Minister of Emergency Situations, sides agreed to share experience and implementation of the joint projects and trainings.
The third memorandum was concluded between police academies of Georgia and Kirgizia. Memorandum is aimed at converting MIA Academy into an international center and enhancing cooperation to boost qualification.
Within the frames of the visit delegation members will also visit Joint Operations Center, 112 and Emergency Situations Agency.
