Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili held meeting with the ambassador of Ukraine to Georgia- Igor Dolgov.
At the meeting sides discussed issues related to the further cooperation with the law enforcement agencies of between Georgia and Ukraine as well as priority directions.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia acquainted the ambassador with international training projects planned to be held at the MIA Academy, which will be dedicated to the elaboration of the joint approach to the fight against crime and contribute to establishing successful relations with partner states.
Giorgi Mgebrishvili introduced the Ambassador with the implemented and ongoing reforms and priorities including high-tech and multifunctional Join Operations center as well as criminal police reforming, community policing and analysis-based police activity projects.
At the end of the meeting Minister of Internal Affairs invited his Ukrainian colleague to Georgia to celebrate policemen day.
