President of the German Federal Criminal Police Office, Mr. Jrg Ziercke paid an official visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Mr. Aleksandre Tchikaidze, together with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Levan Izoria, met with Mr. Zierke.
Mr. Ziercke expressed his willingness to intensify cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, especially in the fields of combating organized crime, forensics and capacity building of the employees of the Ministry.
The delegation will hold meetings with the management of the Central Criminal Police Department and the Interpol National Central Bureau in Georgia and pay visits to the MIA Academy, emergency management operative center “112” and the Old Tbilisi Police Division.
The visit lasts until 26 April.
