Emergency Response Center “112” has hosted the Managing Director of the Crisis Response Department of the European External Action Service, Agostino Miozzo. The guest was met by the Director of “112” Giorgi Bitchashvili. Members of delegation viewed the center and got familiarized with work specifics and positively evaluated 112 services.
At the meeting role of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the process of Emergency Management and Crisis Situations as well as planned reforms and the future cooperation perspectives with the Crisis Response Department were discussed. Sides also discussed the role of EU Crisis Response Department in security politics, which provides world monitoring and information about the current situation in round-the-clock regime.
By the end of the meeting Director of 112 Giorgi Bitchashvili handed over memorable gifts to the members of delegation.
