The rescuers and firefighters of Emergency Situations Management Agency managed to extinguish fire on the territory of former Kirov factory located on T. Eristavi Street. At Emergency Response Center 112 the report was received according to which there was a fire in one of the warehouses of the former Kirov factory. First fire fighting units were mobilized at the place in three minutes. The activities for extinguishing fire were directly headed by the Deputy Minister Temur Mghebrishvili and Director of Emergency Situations Management Agency Zviad katsashvili. There was a danger that fire would spread on nearby buildings, however thanks to operative activities held by fire fighters the fire has been liquidated on time. In total up to 25 firefighters were involved in fire extinguishing activities, three unit of rescuers and two automatic ladders. There are no casualties. As a result of fire 4000 square meters has been burnt down.
