The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze held a meeting with the Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Georgia, Anna Chernyshova.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the bilateral cooperation issues, a special attention was paid to the implementation of the 2021 Action Plan for the Protection the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Ministry and stressed the importance of support UNDP has shown in the implementation process.
The Deputy Minister presented the future plans of the Ministry to Anna Chernyshova, which aims to improve legal status of Persons with Disabilities within the capacity of the state.
At the end of the meeting, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze expressed gratitude to Anna Chernyshova and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for fruitful cooperation.
