TASIS/2007/140835 project, Training and Career System Development at the MoIA Border Police`, launched in 2007 and funded by EU was elaborated by the border agency experts of Finland. The project ended in July 2008.
Overall goals of the project were to:
• streamline MoIA border police and facilitate the EU integration process in border security;
• support of EU's external borders security model.
Specific objectives of the project were to:
• Support of MoIA Border Police at HR Division in development of curriculum planning;
• Facilitation of introducing and planning of training and career development system for the border Police staff which also encompasses officer training and development of high level study program for border officers.
The project elaborated comprehensive system for training and career development for border police staff and junior officers' study program.
