The project - `Facilitation of the return to Georgia at Operational Level` - funded by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) and European Commission in which relevant Georgian state agencies and EU member states take part has been implemented since 2009 and will end in 2010.
Major goals of the project are as follows:
• Establishment of bilateral relationship between relevant Georgian and EU member states agencies for the implementation of the readmission agreement;
• Development of readmission and reintegration tools on central and local levels to secure readmission and successful reintegration of the returnees.
Specific tasks planned to carry out major goals:
• Creation of contact persons network, which is aimed at establishing systemic and effective cooperation tools;
• Creation of internet portal, the overall objective of which is to secure detailed information about returnees;
• elaboration of readmission manual to be used by relevant state agencies of Georgia;
• Printing of brochures on returnees and readmission to be disseminated among EU member states' agencies and consulate offices;
• Visit of Georgian state representatives in EU member states and EU member states' representatives working visits to Georgia.
